Andros Island is an archipelago within the Bahamas, the largest of the Bahamian Islands.
Andros is the largest island in The Bahamas. This peaceful island has the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world.

Major islands: North Andros, Mangrove Cay, South Andros. Conch Sound Flats is located in North Andros.
Andros is known as the bonefish capital of the world. Andros is a tropical paradise for the nature enthusiasts at heart filled with awaiting adventures in the many blue holes, caves, and nature trails.
Andros Island, some 2300 square miles in size, is perhaps the largest tract of unexplored land in the Western hemisphere. A coral limestone formation, Andros is dominated by thick impenetrable bush, sliced in pieces by inland waterways, and edged by mangrove swamp. To the north are hardwood and pine forests–including Andros Pine, Mahogany (Madeira), Horseflesh, and Lignum Vitae; along the east coast are the fishing and diving grounds of the Andros Barrier Reef. We are near to amazing bonefishing flats for the anglers, as well as a blue hole for the adventurous type to explore, and other activities that we can tailor to suit your needs.
At Conch Sound Flats Lodge, we say that “Relaxation is at Hand,” because our exquisite slice of paradise is the perfect place to rest after an exhilarating day of bonefishing or other pursuits. Here you can soak up the sun, enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, or stargaze around the fire pit.
Getting Here!
Arriving By Air To Andros
Guests can book a direct flight on a domestic airline or private charter.
Guests arriving by air can fly into Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau. Upon arriving in Nassau, you can take a quick 12 minute flight to San Andros.
Guests can also charter flights from Fort Lauderdale to San Andros.
Once you arrive in San Andros, airport transfers can be arranged through the hotel for an additional charge.
We recommend guests consider purchasing travel insurance to safeguard against penalties or losses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances.
